March 2021 Insurance Update

Wellmed Announces Agreement with Humana

Wellmed recently signed an agreement with Humana to offer a new Humana Wellmed plan. This plan is similar to Wellmed plans with United Healthcare and Amerigroup, but there are important considerations.

For instance, the Wellmed contract supersedes even if you are contracted with Humana Medicare Advantage plans. If the insurance card has the Wellmed logo, the Wellmed contract supersedes.
